SCUF x Netflix: Squid Game, Season 2

Squid Game Season 2 was one of the most anticipated releases of 2025. I was tasked with crafting copy for the collaboration between Netflix’s Squid Game, Xbox, and SCUF.

The goal was to capture the connection between the heart-pounding intensity of Squid Game and the adrenaline-fueled moments players experience every time they pick up a controller.

Whether it was highlighting SCUF’s precision under pressure or Xbox’s place at the center of gaming, every piece of copy was built to bridge the thrill of the series with the competitive spirit of players.

Writing the landing page for the Squid Game x Xbox x SCUF collaboration was a highly collaborative process. It started with deep discussions with the partnership team and input from Xbox and Netflix’s Squid Game team.

With input from both the partnership and creative teams, the messaging was refined to strike the right balance of excitement and exclusivity. The final copy created buzz and made sure players knew they had to act fast to grab the Pink Guard.

Email Copy

Writing the launch email for the Pink Guard controller was about making sure the excitement of the collab translated into the email. By weaving in subtle references to Season 2, I connected the controller to the ongoing story and added an extra layer of excitement for fans.
